When we were approached by Bass Pro Shops to maintain the newly built aquarium at their flagship store in Vancouver, we were honoured and jumped at the opportunity. Bass Pro and Cabela’s have over 130 stores in North America with Aquariums in them and only select maintenance companies who pass their rigours requirements.
The Aquarium is a 17,500 gallon exhibit that features freshwater fish that are native to the region.
We source all fish in the aquarium from local fish farms and provide education to the public.
We do weekly dives to clean the massive curved acrylic viewing areas, and perform maintenance on the elaborate filtration system.
It is a huge responsibility, but we love the satisfaction of seeing happy families gathered around the aquarium, completely engaged.
